Kingsland Population Projections

This past week I spent a few minutes speaking with a City of Kingsland, Planning and Development Department Employee.  We were talking about the major events happening in real estate for Kingsland and how fast Kingsland is expected to grow over the next decade or two.

There are currently multiple projects happening in or around the edges of Kingsland.  One of the most visible projects is on Highway 40, West of Downtown Kingsland.  The subdivision is in full swing with a target of more than 670 lots in this subdivision alone.

In October the city expects to announce another large project that is rumored to have thousands of acres of land development involved.  It is very "hush - hush" at the moment but check back to my blog in late October or early November and I'll post the details as soon as they are released.

Although I have not seen any formal population projections for Kingsland or our real estate markets, the general conversation claims that we will have around 45,000 people in Kingsland by the year 2022.  That is only 15 years out and really blows me away considering the population of the entire Camden County was around 48,000 just 5 years ago.  Real Estate is still exciting for us in the area and I am confident it is going to continue to be exciting for years to come.

If you are thinking of buying or selling a home make sure you visit my personal website at http://www.YourHomeListingSpecialist.com where you can see quality marketing on the homes I have listed for sale in the Kingsland and St. Marys Real Estate Markets.
